Granthams has over 100 years experience in the Graphics business.

Originally a sign making business founded in 1890 we developed a graphic supplies department in the late 1960’s and became the main distributors for Letraset associated products in Lancashire.

Today we manage the country’s leading, low cost Art and Graphic materials website with a broad base of customers.  These include commercial, amateur and professional artists, education, local and central government as well as home users.

With the onset of new technologies in the early 1980’s we became one of the very first graphic suppliers in the country to become an Apple Computer dealer/distributor specialising in early desk top publishing systems into our graphic materials customer user base.

At that time we were determined to source both software and hardware that would allow us to introduce the very latest technologies into the Sign and Screen printing industries. This led our appointment as U.K. distributor for Amiable Technologies, the USA’s range of FLEXISign systems which we sold and supported nationally.

We also developed and distributed I.T. systems for the Technical Publishing industry and were appointed sole U.K. distributors for the world’s leading technical illustration software ISOdraw, written and produced by Itedo GmbH.

Our experience in utilising the very latest in Digital printing systems over many years lead us to employ this equipment to enable us to offer low cost, fast turnaround colour printing services, both locally and via the web. Our Copy & Print services include both small and large format printing, digitally produced to the highest standards.

We are today a part of the national GDL Graphic Association, a group of companies with over £50 million annual purchasing power enabling us to continue to offer the Graphics industries the very best in both conventional and technology based materials and systems across the U.K.
